The CS+ Challenge

CS+ operates in the complex world of IT, where clients and prospects often have little to no idea what they are actually purchasing—especially when it comes to ERP systems. Instead of overwhelming their audience with technical jargon, CS+ wanted to use humor to make their message clear.

Their goal was to stand out from other IT companies by showing, with a touch of self-mockery, who they are and what they truly do.

Our Approach

This Identity Clip takes a deliberately exaggerated approach to illustrate the reality of the IT industry, making it easy for everyone to understand. More importantly, it reinforces CS+’s commitment to honesty in ERP solutions, which is reflected in their slogan.

Once the script was approved, we moved into pre-production, starting with casting. We needed a good-looking, slightly arrogant character—someone who could fully embody the stereotype we wanted to play with.

For the filming location, we secured a private Airbnb villa on the Côte d’Azur, ensuring complete creative freedom and a controlled, empty film set. The six-person crew utilized a combination of Sony AS7 and Panasonic GH4 cameras, steadicam and drone shots for dynamic visuals, and GoPro underwater footage for added variety.

The Result

The film made a strong impact. At the World Media Festival 2018 in Hamburg, we proudly received the Gold World Media Award for the commercial “CS+ – Meet Dave.”

Beyond industry recognition, the film played a key role in online campaigns, direct mail marketing, and targeted telemarketing outreach, where it served as the first impression—sparking curiosity and leading to successful appointment bookings.
